Vivo X50 Series Overview
Vivo X50 series comes with a trio of smartphones such as Vivo X50, X50 Pro, and X50 Pro+. They’re brand’s first flagships smartphone announced in 2020. Vivo’s X series has always focused on the majestic optical features and we assure that the X50 series is no exception. Now let’s know more in detail about the flagship X50 series.
Vivo X50 Overview
Vivo X50 arrives with a 6.56-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen along with a resolution of 2376 x 1080 pixels. It supports a refresh rate of 90Hz and 180Hz touch sampling rate. It also has a screen to body ratio of 92.6% and an under-screen fingerprint sensor embedded underneath.
Talking about the optical feature of Vivo X50, it comes with a quad-camera setup at the rear that consists of 48MP Sony IMX598 primary sensor, 13MP portrait lens, 8MP ultra-wide-angle with 120° FoV and 5MP macro lens. On the front, it comes with a 32MP selfie camera to snap attractive selfies.
Under the hood, it comes equipped by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. It is coupled with the 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128/256 GB with UFS 2.0. On the software front, Vivo X50 runs on Funtouch OS 10.5 on top of Android 10.

Vivo X50 Pro Overview
Vivo X50 Pro comes with the same design/display as that of Vivo X50, a 6.56-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen along with a resolution of 2376 x 1080 pixels. It supports a refresh rate of 90Hz and 180Hz touch sampling rate. But different to X50 it has a curved screen design and it is also the first curved smartphone in the X series.
Now coming to the camera department, it is also pretty similar to the Vivo X50. It comes with a quad rear camera setup consisting of 48MP Sony IMX598 primary sensor, 13MP portrait lens, 8MP ultra-wide-angle with 120° FoV, and 8MP periscope lens. The highlighting feature is that the smartphone uses the gimbal camera system. The primary lens of the device utilizes the gimbal camera system, the gimbal moves the camera module in the direction opposite to that of the shake, which increases the stability of the main camera. As compared to the simpler OIS, the gimbal system widens the rotation angle and the anti-shake area. In the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera for snapping selfies. It has various camera modes that include Super Night Mode and Astro Mode, etc.
Vivo X50 Pro comes equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. It has the same memory options as that of the Vivo X50, 8GB LPDDR4X + up to 256GB UFS 2.1. Vivo X50 Pro+ Overview
Talking about the design of the Vivo X50 Pro plus, it comes with plain leather material at the rear that is better and lighter in weight. The brand’s logo is imprinted on the leather. It boasts a 6.56-inch Full HD+ AMOLED, HDR10+ display with 1080 x 2376 pixels of resolution. It has an impressive 120Hz refresh rate and a 90.6% screen-to-body ratio. It also has corning gorilla glass for protection and there’s also an under-display fingerprint optical sensor.
The optical feature of the Vivo X50 Pro Plus is on a whole other level, it comes with a new 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN1 custom sensor, with a 1 / 1.3 ” pixel size. So the primary camera will exceptionally perform in complex scenes with low light and light and dark conditions. It also has a 13MP portrait lens, 8MP periscope lens, and 8MP ultra-wide-angle with 120° FoV. It comes with a 32MP selfie camera at the front. The Vivo X50 series such as Vivo X50, X50 Pro, and X50 Pro+ will be available for sale starting June 6, June 12, and July respectively in China. The Vivo X50 series is already available for pre-order. The base variant of Vivo X50, X50 Pro, and X50 Pro+ is priced at 3498 yuan, 4298 yuan & 4998 yuan respectively in China. The expected price of the X50 series is around Rs.61,999, Rs.74,999 & Rs.86,999 in Nepal. The international availability of the smartphone is not announced officially.
