Vivo X30 Series to debut on December | Coming with Samsung Exynos 980 5G SoC
5G is a hot topic in the smartphone world and every smartphone manufacturer is in the race to embed it in their upcoming smartphone. As we are waiting for September 2020 for iPhone 12 with 5G, Vivo has confirmed December 2020 for their upcoming 5G devices. Today, in an event held in Beijing, Samsung and Vivo join hands for a dual-mode 5G AI chip. Vivo will be using this Exynos 980 SoC in their upcoming Vivo X30 Series.
Exynos 980 is an in-house chipset of Samsung which Vivo will be using in their smartphones. More importantly, Exynos 980 chipset comes with a 5G modem and supports dual-mode 5G(SA/NSA) connectivity. Exynos 980 powered smartphones could have download speeds up to 3.55Gbps and supports 5 cameras with a 108MP camera lens.
Vivo X30 Series Specifications(RUMORED)
Most possibly, the Vivo X30 series will include Vivo X30 and Vivo X30 Pro. Though the company confirms December for the launch of these devices, they don’t share any specifications of them. Vivo X30 series is expected to come with AMOLED display and support a 90Hz refresh rate.
Exynos 980 chipset powered Vivo X30 series comes with Mali-G76 M5 high-end GPU and Vivo’s Multi Turbo Technology. Vivo X30 may have 8GB of RAM where the pro variant may come with up to 12GB of RAM. These devices are expected to debut with the Quad-Rear camera setup with 64MP Primary Lens. Based on the rumors, the X30 series is expected to fuel with 4,500mAh of battery and could support 30W fast charging.
Well, we are almost a month away from the launch of this new 5G powered Vivo devices. Due to the lack of a 5G operator in Nepal, we may not see this device in our country.
