UMIDIGI is not a popular mobile brand but they want to push all the boundaries to make a mark in the market. With this thinking, UMIDIGI announced a new device UMIDIGI F2

UMIDIGI F2 Overview

This Umidigi F2 will launch at a premium mid-range segment and it brings some promising features to offers. Some highlighting specs of this UMIDIGI F2 are:

Display/Design

Umidigi F2 has an all-screen display with 4.5mm wide punch-hole which is so small that it won't distract the users. It comes in 6.53” Full HD+ FullView display with the resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The bezels are well minimized but chin at the button is quite noticeable.

As the fingerprint sensor is mounted at the side, the backside of the phone looks beautiful and clean as it houses quad-camera with LED flash and UMIDIGI branding at the back. This phone comes in All-New Holographic Design and Double Sided 2.5D Curved Glass. It is available in two colors variant: Phantom Blue and Midnight Black. 

Performance

This is one of the best performing UMIDIGI devices to date. Umidigi F2 is fueled by MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. This octa-core processor has a configuration of 4 x Cortex-A73 at 2.1GHz and 4 x Cortex-A53 at 2.0GHz cores. For the Graphical works, this phone is backed by ARM Mali G72 MP3 900MHz GPU.

The MediaTek SoC is coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. This internal storage is UFS 2.1 Flash storage which is usually found in flagship devices. Additionally, it can expand memory up to 256 GB via Dedicated Micro-SD Slot. 

Camera

The company has claims this camera setup in UMIDIGI F2 as Pro Garde. This phone has Quad-Camera set up in the back with 48MP Main Sensor, 13MP Ultra-Wide Camera, 5MP Macro camera and 5MP Depth Sensor. The 13MP Ultra-wide sensor captures the scene up to 120-degree Field-of-View (FOV). This Quad Camera offers features like Ultra wide-angle mode, AI Scenes Detection, Portrait Mode, Panorama Mode, HDR, Steady Handheld Night Photography, Face Recognition, AI Beautify and many more. 

On the front, it has 32MP with an f/2.0 aperture Selfie shooter fitted inside the tiny punch-hole. This front-facing camera has features like AI Beautify, Selfie Countdown and Support Face Recognition. 

Battery & Others

Umidigi F2 has a massive 5150mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. This device can survive 9 hours of Gaming or 16 Hours of Video Playback.

Price and Availability

This Umidigi F2 is all set to get launch on October 14. The pricing has not been unveiled yet. The expected price of this Umidigi F2 is around $300(~Rs 35,000 Nepali Price). The availability of this device in Nepal is quite uncertain.
