Tech Brands Extend Warranties In Nepal During Lockdown | Sign of Relief For Customers!!!

Coronavirus pandemic has made a huge impact on our day to day lives. And it seems like it is going to take a while for us to return on our normal routine. The Nepalese government decided to extend the lockdown phase till Baisakh 3rd to stop the further spread of the virus.  So keeping this scenario in mind various tech brands have extended the warranty period of their products in Nepal. The warranty is extended for the products that were to be ended between March & April. The few tech brands to extend warranties of their products are below.

Samsung, one of the biggest tech brand has extended the warranties of all its products in Nepal. The brand has extended the warranty of its products till 20th May 2020 whose warranty is expiring between 24th March and 20th April 2020. It seems the brand knows the necessities of consumers & they prioritize their customers. This might be why the brand has been able to stay on top. Vivo has also extended the warranty of their smartphones. The brand announced from its social media handle that the warranty will be extended only to the smartphones purchased in Nepal whose warranties were ending on March 22, 2020. Mr. Mars, General Manager of Vivo Nepal said that “In these crucial times, we stand firm to our commitment and this warranty extension is provided to facilitate our valued customers amid the COVID-19 outbreak.”

Xiaomi needs no introduction, it is one of the fastest-growing tech brands. As all of the services of the brand are closed due to the lockdown situation, the brand is trying to address the issues customers might face.
