Such phones with stylish and amazing features Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 plus were launched back in 2017 in Nepal. The phones caught the eye of all consumers immediately due to its amazing display & impressive camera. As the name suggests both of these phones are the same with similar features but in different sizes. They come in a beautifully-premium body made of glass fronts and backs and a metallic side frame. The new device has an all-glass body and is slim and long and sharp compared to most modern smartphones, designed to be held in one hand. The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a 5.8 inch QHD+ (2960×1440) display and the Samsung Galaxy S8 plus features a 6.2 inch QHD+ display, a jump up in size from the 5.1″ display on the S7 and 5.5″ display on the S7 Edge — the key difference is they come in an 18:9 aspect ratio, meaning they are better than their  predecessors. Samsung likes to call those bezel-less display as infinity display instead of an edge display. The S8 and S8 Plus are the first Samsung phones with on-screen navigation buttons.

Camera

Now talking about the cameras, the Samsung Galaxy S8 & Samsung Galaxy S8 plus both of them features 12 MP Dual Pixel sensor, f/1.7 aperture, OIS at the rear. And while on the front there will be an 8MP camera with aperture F/1.7 for the video calling or to click the selfies.

It also includes simultaneous 4K video and 9MP image capture, as well as 4K video recording at 60FPS and FHD slow-mo at 120fps.

Hardware/Software

Both of the devices are powered up by the 64-bit Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, based on the same Samsung-fabbed 10nm FinFET technology. Both of them will feature 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card slot as per consumers choice.

Talking about the software of the devices, they run Android v7.0 Nougat with Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI on top. Both of the devices comes with Bixby and DeX support. Bixby is Samsung’s very own digital assistant developed to compete with the Google Assistant and Siri.

Battery

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is powered up with a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery And Samsung Galaxy S8 plus is powered up with a 3,500 mAh battery.

Both of these devices have fast wireless charging as well as regular fast charging capabilities. Compared to other flagship smartphones, these aren’t incredibly high battery backup, but they’re not low either.

They also come with Iris Scanner, Face Recognition, Fingerprint Scanner which provides a heck of security in a device.
