Samsung Galaxy M40 Price in Nepal | Mid-Range King???

Samsung Galaxy M series one of the most successful series of Samsung. And after the success of Samsung Galaxy M20 and Samsung Galaxy M30, Samsung has introduced a new phone in M series which is known as Samsung Galaxy M40. Samsung has just introduced the Samsung Galaxy M40 in the Nepalese market and is one of the out-standing phones in mid-range series with features like punch-hole design and a fast face unlock. The price of Samsung Galaxy M40 in Nepal was originally set at Rs. 29,990 but got a price drop as a Christmas and New Year Offer. The new price of Galaxy M40 in Nepal is Rs. 25,999. The new price of the smartphone makes it the best phone under Rs. 30000 in Nepal and is set to directly compete with already popular Redmi Note 7 Pro. 

Design

Talking about the design of the phone, it comes with a 6.3 inch TFT PLS touchscreen with a Full HD+ resolution with a 409ppi density. The screen looks great and has some great colors. The screen looks vibrant and is bright enough. But having an AMOLED screen would be a perfect choice but no complaints regarding the price of Samsung Galaxy M40.

The front display of the phone is all screen with no-notch and very thin chin at the bottom. The major reason for having this beautiful screen is the implementation of the punch hole design. It is great news that Samsung is implementing these punch hole designs on mid-range phones as well.

At the back of the phone, you will find a triple camera set-up with a fingerprint sensor. The back of the phone looks quite great and colors available for these phones are also great.

Performance

Talking about the performance of the phone, Samsung Galaxy M40 features a Qualcomm SDM675 Snapdragon 675 11nm chipset. It is the same chipset that has been used in phones like Samsung Galaxy A70 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro. So, there will be some tough competition around these phones after Samsung Galaxy M40 launches. It features an Octa-core (2x2.0 GHz Kryo 460 Gold & 6x1.7 GHz Kryo 460 Silver) and Adreno 612 GPU.

It comes with two different variants of RAM with 4 GB and 6 GB. While buying 4 GB of RAM variant you get 64 GB of internal storage whereas 6 GB model comes with 64 GB and 128 GB of internal storage. You can expand the storage with the help of MicroSD up to 1 TB.

Camera

Now, talking about the cameras of the phone, Samsung Galaxy M40 features a triple camera setup on the back with 32 MP, f/1.7, 0.8µm, PDAF,8 MP, f/2.2, 12mm (ultrawide), 1.12µm, PDAF, and 5 MP, f/2.2, depth sensor. It can shoot up to 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30fps.

Talking about the front punch-hole design camera, It features a 16 MP, f/2.0 which can shoot up to 1080p@30 fps.

Battery

Samsung Galaxy M40 is powered by a 3500 mAh Battery which can give a decent amount of battery backup. If you are a normal user then this battery backup would be enough for you else you might have to charge it twice a day. The phone supports fast charging which is a great thing to have and out of the box, you will get a 15-watt fast charger.

Samsung Galaxy M40 was officially launched in Nepal at Daraz mobile week event. The phone is was available with a price tag of Rs. 29,990 for 6GB and 128GB variant. The new price of Galaxy M40 is Rs. 25,999 for 6/128GB variant.
