So, Samsung has launched a new product in this segment as Samsung Galaxy M31 in India, and now, it's available in Nepal too. Display/Design

Samsung Galaxy M31 comes with a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. This display has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. On the top, it has a water-drop notch and thicker bezels at the button. With the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and Peak Brightness of 420nits, the display looks stunning.

Moving onto the physical overview, the device is sleek and lightweight with 8.9mm thickness and 191gms respectively. The backside of the device is occupied with a rectangular quad camera, fingerprint sensor, and Samsung branding logo.

Samsung Galaxy M31 has brought 64MP primary sensors in this mid-range device to compete with 64MP's sensor of Redmi Note 8 Pro. The quad rear camera houses this 64MP Primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide sensors with 123-degree FOV, a 5MP Depth Sensor, and a 5MP Macro Lens. On the front, Samsung Galaxy M31 is equipped with 32MP of Selfie Shooter inside the water-drop notch.

Digging into the camera performance, both front and rear camera is able to shot 4K Video recording, Slo-mo, AR Doodle, AR Emoji and many more.

Performance

Despite going with Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, Samsung Galaxy M31 is powered by in-house Exynos 9811 chipset. This octa-core processor is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is also one variant with 128GB of internal storage but the RAM remains the same. Furthermore, you can expand the memory up to 512GB via MicroSD.

It looks like, Samsung has stuck with the same processor as of older brother Samsung Galaxy M30s. A bit disappointment from Samsung. This device has made its way to Nepal and the price of Samsung Galaxy M31 in Nepal is Rs.30,999 for the 6/128GB and Rs. 35,699 for the 8/128GB variant.
