Samsung Galaxy M10 Price in Nepal | Cheapest M Series Phone
Samsung Galaxy M10 Samsung's attempt at the budget category. Well, the budget category has been a weak spot for Samsung and with the arrival of Samsung Galaxy M10, they are in a competition like Huawei, OPPO, VIVO, etc. in the mid-range segment. The latest and Updated Price of Samsung Galaxy M10 in Nepal is Rs. 13,290. Samsung has released other phones in M series like Samsung Galaxy M20, Samsung Galaxy M30, and Samsung Galaxy M40.
Design & Build Quality
Samsung galaxy M10 looks not so new. It looks cheap and feels the same in your hands especially with the speaker grille at the back which used to be a feature in very old Samsung phones. But compared to what we use to get in the past this is an improvement. The plastic back has a glossy finish and is not a fingerprint magnet as we usually see on glass or other glossy back phones from Oppo and Vivo. The build quality is decent, sturdy enough. Exactly what you would expect from a phone at this price range.
It is plastic so durability might be a concern but when it comes to taking the abuse we know that plastic backs do a much better job than glass or metal backs. Even they don't look or feel so premium this phone, however, feels a bit hollow inside like the weight distribution is off somewhere but there are no cracks and no bending or things like that so it's okay. The display here is a big 6.2 inches IPS LCD and not the AMOLED one but it's pretty good for a budget phone. The resolution is only HD plus so don't expect all that sharpness in terms of brightness it is stellar even outdoors there is literally no problems.
And this is something you cannot say for more Samsung phones even today the color reproduction is fine with crispy and vibrant. I cannot say I disliked any part of the display. It really looks good Samsung has also included an auto-brightness sensor here for the price this is as good as it gets.
The chipset that is used in Samsung Galaxy M10 is about 3 years old i.e. Exynos 7870 Octa (14 nm) with an Octa-core CPU and Mali-T830 M1 GPU. As for internals, it comes with two variants of RAM being 2 GB the base model and you can get 3 GB model as well. As for the internals, you get 16 GB of internal storage for 2 GB RAM variant and 32 GB for 3 GB variant.
The performance is quite good and the user interface is smooth enough. There were no lags or any kind of stutters while running apps like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. It runs smoothly games like asphalt 9 runs in low settings and PUBG is playable at lowest settings but the framerate isn't that good actually but it is still playable without many hiccups. Moving on to the software this phone still runs on Android 8.1 Oreo but Samsung has announced that this phone will get Android file later in August so I think we shall bear for that time being and of course since its Samsung, you get Samsung experience 9.5 designed for Galaxy M series on top of it.
Now let's talk about the cameras we have seen dual cameras on budget phones these days and the m10 is no different it has a 13 plus 5-megapixel camera but the secondary 5-megapixel lens here is not a depth sensor but a wide-angle one. That is a strange convention but it is good to have a wide-angle lens as it is a nice touch. The camera quality from the primary 13-megapixel lens is nothing to go on about. Basically, there are less sharpness and details and also the autofocus is slow and there is no autofocus for a wide-angle lens. As for videos, it can shoot up to 1080p@30fps from both front and back cameras.
This phone packs in a 3400 mAh battery which is a very good size for a phone at this price. With this battery, you can easily get over six hours of screen on time with ease. The only thing it lacks is the USB type-c port and fast charging but with the 2 amperes 5-volt charger it took around 2 hours to get charged from 0 to 90% so it is not all that bad.
