Sujan Koirala 9 Oct, 2020

Samsung’s mid-range is mostly covered by Galaxy A and Galaxy M Series. And of course, these series are doing good business not only in the Asian region but also in the European area. These devices covered the Nepali market from less than Rs.10K to going up to more than Rs.50K. So, users got enough options to choose from. Now, Samsung comes up with new Series as “F Series” and Galaxy F41 debuts as its first. Samsung Galaxy F41 is launched at the price of Rs. 16,999 (Converted | ~Rs. 27K Nepali Price) for 6/64GB in India.

Samsung Galaxy F41 Overview

Though the first device under the Galaxy F Series, Samsung Galaxy F41 is almost a rebranded version of Samsung Galaxy M31. Apart from the rear camera configuration, most of the specs of these smartphones are similar. Most of the specs and designs are inherited from either A series or M Series and so, nothing new from the company for this new Lineup.

Samsung Galaxy F41 comes in a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080-pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The expectation of punch-hole display missed as we get a water-drop notch on the top of the Galaxy F41. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and sadly, no higher refresh rate. Moving on to the physical overview, it has a rectangular camera bump on the rear side and has a plastic body with a dual-tone finish.

Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy F41 is powered by an in-house Exynos 9611 chipset. Its an octa-core processor built on 10nm technology and has a clock speed up to 2.3GHz. It comes in two RAM Variants: 6GB or 8GB and two storage variants: 64GB or 128GB. The internal storage can be expandable via a dedicated MicroSD card. The graphical works of this device are handled by Mali-G72 MP3.

The main difference between the Galaxy M31 is the camera. We only get a triple camera setup on this new Galaxy F41 while Galaxy M31 has a quad-rear camera. The main camera of Galaxy F41 is 64MP supported by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with a 123-degree FOV, and a 5MP depth sensor. It has an LED flash and supports panorama, HDR. On the front, it has a 32MP Selfie shooter supporting HDR.

Battery & Others

Just like Galaxy M31, Galaxy F41 is also equipped with a massive 6,000mAh battery supported by 15W Fast charging and USB Type-C port. It's running on Android 10 with One UI Core 2.1 on the top. Thanks to the company for including a 3.5mm headphone jack and we have a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.
