Samsung Unveiled its new Samsung Galaxy Buds+ along with the highly awaited Samsung Galaxy S20 series at the Galaxy Unpacked 2020 Event. As all the peoples were excited about the Galaxy S20 series, the Samsung Galaxy Buds plus arrived as a compliment. Samsung Galaxy Buds+ is the successor of the Galaxy Buds earbuds that comes with further upgrades and improvements. The same pattern was also followed last year as the Samsung Galaxy buds were also launched alongside the Galaxy 10 series. Samsung Nepal has been very positive this time, launching this Samsung Galaxy Buds + in Nepal within few days of its launch at the price of Rs.17,000.

Samsung Galaxy Buds+ Overview


Earbuds have become quite popular these days, they have taken the market by storm as they’re very easy & trendy for use. Many brands have unveiled their earbuds such as Apples’ Airpods ProRealme Buds Air, etc. The Galaxy Buds+ is pretty much similar in designs & other aspects to Galaxy Buds except some upgrades and tweaks on it.

At your 1st glance, you might not find the difference between the Samsung Galaxy Buds & Galaxy Buds+ as they have a similar appearance. The main highlighting feature of the Galaxy Buds+ is its enhanced audio feature & battery life. Now, the earbuds come with the one tweeter, one woofer, two drivers that’ll surely provide you with the bass & rich treble. The tuning of the buds is done by AKG.


For better quality interaction & clear calls, it has got as many as three microphones. For the user’s satisfaction and to help them listen to their favorite songs & podcasts Samsung now has partnered with Spotify. Now users will be able to listen to their favorite music with a simple single press. The one thing Samsung has disappointed the users with is the skipping of ANC(Active Noise Cancellation) on Galaxy Buds+. 

The galaxy buds+ can be connected with both Android and iOS. for android it can be paired with the devices having higher than 1.5GB RAM & Android 5 Lollipop devices and incase of IOS devices running on IOS 7 and higher. Now talking about the connectivity of the  Galaxy Buds+, it comes equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 and comes with the IPX2 water-resistant rating.

Now let’s get to the highlighting upgrade in Galaxy Buds+ i.e. Battery of the device. Galaxy Buds+ arrives equipped with the huge 85mAh battery in each bud and the charging case comes with the battery of 270mAh battery. As per the brand By charging it once, the Buds+ will last for up to 11 hours. By charging for only 3 minutes, it can last for 1 hour. Isn’t that impressive? The Buds+ charging case doubles the battery life of the earbuds to 22 hours. It also supports Qi wireless charging & is charged through USB-C.

The Galaxy Buds+ will be available from Valentine’s day i.e. Feb 14th globally and the device comes with the price tag of $149. But surprisingly the Galaxy Buds+ is already made available in Nepal and the price of Galaxy Buds+ in Nepal is only Rs.17,000. Samsung Nepal has given a very sweet valentine’s day gift to all the users already. It will surely give tough competition to its contemporaries.
