Samsung Galaxy A20s Got a Price Drop | Best Phone Under 20,000?

Another "A" series smartphone of Samsung is released. The new Galaxy A20S was launched in early October of 2019 with a minor upgrade with its predecessor Galaxy A20. Samsung Electronics had set the price of Galaxy A20s in Nepal is Rs. 23,990 for the 4/64GB variant. Few months later, Samsung Nepal dropped the price of the Galaxy A20s. This new smartphone is more affordable than the Galaxy A20. After the price drop, the new price of Galaxy A20s in Nepal is Rs. 19,999 for 4/64GB variant. Even though lots of Samsung smartphones are releasing recently, this particular smartphone will target customers with low budget availability. The main features packed inside the device are its 6.5-inch Infinity-V display and Triple rear camera. 

Design and Looks

Unlike its predecessor Galaxy A20, it will not have an AMOLED screen because of being an economic device. But Galaxy A20s will have an IPS HD+ screen with 720x1560 pixels resolution. As it comes with 82% screen to body ratio and 19.5:9 aspect ratio the display will look gorgeous. Additionally, the teardrop notch at the top will embed an 8 MP selfie camera. Different back color options will also be available to users so that people can choose Galaxy A20s with their favorite color options. 

Processor and Performance

The latest and greatest Android 9.0 Pie operating system will be offered by the Samsung out of the box on the Galaxy A20s. Similarly, for processing octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC clocked at 1.8 GHz processor will be paired with Adreno 506 GPU. A combination of this CPU and GPU will effectively handle daily media consumption and light gaming without affecting the performance. For the RAM and storage option either a 3/32 GB or 4/64GB variant with a dedicated microSD slot ( expand storage up to 1TB) will be available. 

Camera

The triple rear camera setup with the primary 13 MP f/1.8 sensor will be able to capture a decent picture and FHD video. Similarly, 8 MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera and 5MP depth sensor will also be present to capture wide landscapes or photos with depth effect. According to rumor, the camera will be arranged vertically with Flash at the bottom. Moreover at the front teardrop notch will mount a single 8MP f/2.0 front-facing camera.

Other features

Even though the majority of other specifications will be similar to Galaxy A10, there will still be features peculiar to Galaxy A20s. It will have a 4,000 mAh battery capacity with 15W fast charging, which means users can use the device all day long without worrying about charging. There will also be a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for additional security. The support for face recognition and Type-C cable will also come in handy while using this device.

Pricing and Availability of Galaxy A20s in Nepal

Samsung has recently launched the all-new Galaxy A20s in Nepal, and two variants of Galaxy A20s are available in Nepal. The baseline version with a 3GB RAM and 32GB storage option is available in Nepal and the price is Rs. 19,899. But the recent price drop made it even affordable. The new price of Galaxy A20s 3/32GB variant is Rs. 18,899.  Similarly, the price of Samsung Galaxy A20s 4/64GB variant has also reduced from Rs 23,990 to Rs. 19,999. The handset is available with four color options - Black, Blue, Red, and Green.
