Samsung Galaxy A20 has to compete with own siblings from M Series like Samsung Galaxy M20 and Samsung Galaxy M30. These phones vary little in price and specs. Samsung Galaxy M20 is cheaper than A20 and some specs make A20 more powerful than M20. Samsung Galaxy M30 got triple camera setup where Samsung Galaxy A20 doesn't.
Design & Display
The Galaxy A20 is a 6.4-inch HD+ Infinity-V Super AMOLED display on the front. Like on most of Samsung mid-range and budget phones, Samsung used the same Glastic body to cover the phone which Samsung calls 3D Glasstic design. As the name suggests, it's a combination of glass and plastic. A bezel-less design with a small notch on the top is the screen design of the phone.
The phone got a screen resolution of 720 x 1,560 pixels and a density of 268 PPI. This screen resolution is quite less compared to 1080 x 2340 pixels of Samsung Galaxy M20. And of course, the Samsung Galaxy M20 got the impressive density.
The fingerprint sensor is placed on the back side of the phone right by the side of the camera sensor.
The phone has a dual camera set up at the back (13MP f/1.9 and 5MP f/2.2 modules). The camera of 13MP which got f/1.9 aperture helps in enhancing the brightness of the picture. This sensor is also helpful in shooting low light images. For selfies and video calls, there's an 8 MP snapper on the front with f/2.0 aperture.
The camera is able to shot 123-degree images with an ultra-wide lens. This helps in adding more content to the image in a single capture.
The mid-range Samsung Galaxy A20 is powered by Exynos 7884 SoC - the same chipset that is used in Galaxy A10. The phone packs 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage and it has a microSD card slot that allows storage expansion by up to 512GB. According to Samsung, they say’ Play games, stream videos and multitask with ease’ but might not be supportable for heavy CPU usage games.
