Samsung Galaxy A10s Announced with Upgrade in Battery, Camera and Fingerprint Sensor

Samsung launched one of the most awaited flagship phone of the year, Galaxy Note 10 and they already started Pre-Order in Nepal too. So, that’s the end of Flagship Phones from Samsung for this year 2019 and they will be extending their budget lineups in the coming days. M-Series and A-Series are doing good business and they are planning for more updated versions of these lineups. The first one to go is Samsung Galaxy A10. Well, Samsung announced Galaxy A10s, the updated version of Galaxy A10 which is priced at Rs.13,490 in Nepal.

Samsung Galaxy A10s Overview

Samsung Galaxy A10 is an entry-level device from Samsung in A-Series and Galaxy A10s will come with key improvements in that device. The Galaxy A10s is coming with a bigger battery and fingerprint sensor at the rear side which is missing in Galaxy A10.

The new Samsung Galaxy A10s will be in same screen size and resolution capacity which is 6.2 inch IPS LCD display and a screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The bezels are almost to zero at sides and a bit at the chin and infinity V-display at the top for Selfie shooter.


As the previous version is powered by Exynos 7884 chipset, an octa-core processor, this Galaxy A10s will also be featuring an octa-core processor but they don't have announced the processor brand they are using. The octa-core chipset will be the combination of Quad 2.0GHz + Quad 1.5GHz.

The octa-core chipset is paired with 2GB of RAM the same as the earlier version device. For the storage, the device comes with 32GB of internal storage and can be expandable up to 512GB via microSD.


The key improvement can be seen in Rear Camera. This new device features a dual-camera setup on the rear side with a 13MP main camera with an aperture of f/1.8 and 2MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. For the selfie, there is 8MP of a front-facing camera with an aperture of f/2.0. This camera also supports face unlock.

Galaxy A10s is powered by 4,000mAh of battery, a 600mAh increase from Galaxy A10. This device is running on Android Pie with ONE UI on top. This device comes in four different color variants: Blue, Green, Red, and Black. There is 3 dedicated slot: 2 for SIM and 1 for microSD.

Samsung just announced the device with specs but no confirmation on price and launch date. May we'll see this coming soon. As the Galaxy A10 is priced at Rs.13,490 in Nepal, we can expect the price of Galaxy A10s a bit more or the same as Galaxy A10.
