LG UX 9.0 Overview

Android 10 was revealed back in September, & the brand got an Android 10 preview and run the smartphones like LG V50 and LG G8 ThinQ for few months and it was also made available in the south Korean variant later in November. It has been known that LG has come up with the latest rendition of the brand’s custom UI which is LG UX 9.0 i.e. based on Android 10. It is pretty much similar to other brands like Huawei’s Easy Projection and Samsung’s software. It works very much alike Samsung DeX and the desktop mode feature needs a type-C USB to HDMI cable. It seems that the LG UX 9.0 update hasn’t been available for Global variants of the brand’s smartphones.

As per the brand, the latest Android 10 based LG UX 9.0 update will be made available for a total of nine smartphones. The very first device that will be featuring the new Android 10 update will be the LG V50 ThinQ in the 1st quarter of 2020 i.e. In Feb. And moving on in the second quarter of 2020, the update will be provided to the LG G8X ThinQ. Later on the 3rd quarter of 2020, LG G7 ThinQ, LG G8S ThinQ & LG V40 ThinQ will feature the update. And finally, the other smartphones that were launched back in 2019 such as LG K50S, LG 40S, LG K50 and LG Q60 will have an update in the final quarter of 2020.

So, it is very good that the company is coming with the new Android update. It is known to all of us that the company hasn’t been able to trade out the Android 10 to their smartphones, and even now it’s not known that it will change. So, as to make their mark and compete with its contemporaries LG must pay detail attention in these little things. And we hope for the best for the company in the coming days.
