RedmiBook 13 Announced | Please Xiaomi, Bring it to Nepal !

Just like wireless buds, every smartphone manufacturers also want to have their own in-house laptops. Basically, every other smartphone manufacturer dreams of having MacBook just like Apple. We have seen laptops from Samsung as Galaxy Book S, laptops from Huawei and now, Xiaomi joined the race. They launched RedmiBook 13 along Redmi K30. RedmiBook 13 has a starting price of 4199 Yuan (~Rs.68K Nepali Price) for Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage.

RedmiBook 13 Overview

This RedmiBook 13 comes with a 13.3-inch FHD+ display with 89% screen to body ratio and 178-degree viewing angle plus metal body. According to the company’s claims, this RedmiBook 13 has the same size as that of A4 paper. It has a weight of just 1.23Kgs

Moving on to power and performance, RedmiBook 13 is powered by the latest 10th Gen Intel Core Processors ranging from i5 to i7. This processor is coupled with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. For the graphical works, this device is equipped with 2GB of Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics memory. 

RedmiBook 13 has introduced the “Hurrican Cooling System” which increases the heat transfer by 70%. According to the company, this laptop can survive up to 11 hours of use. Additionally, it comes with fast charging support which can charge up to 50 % within 35 minutes. 

Moving on to ports, it has 2 USB 3.1 ports, an HDMI, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For the better audio experience, RedmiBook 13 is powered by Harman Speaker with DTS support. Furthermore, RedmiBook 13 comes with Xiaomi’s Mutual Transmission support which helps to transfer data between PCs and Mobile or PCs and PCs without network.

Price and Availability

Well, Xiaomi has launched this RedmiBook 13 only in China and the news for global launch is yet to come out. We wish to get this laptop too in the Nepali market. If this RedmiBook 13 makes its way to Nepal in the future, the expected price would be ~Rs.70K for the base variant.
