Redmi Y3 Price in Nepal! 32 MP Selfie Camera Redmi Y3 Price in Nepal
Xiaomi has unveiled the brand new smartphone and well the brand new budget smartphone is here with us so. The Xiaomi Redmi Y3 was launched in Nepal with a starting price of Rs 18,499 for the base variant of 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage was priced at 21,499. Xiaomi Nepal has cut the price of Rs 500 on Redmi Y3 both the variant 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB. The new price will be NPR 17,999 for the 3GB+32GB and NPR 20,999 for 4GB+64GB.
Redmi Y3 comes with an HD Plus 6.26 inch IPS LCD display and it's decent. The colors look nice it's vibrant and while I would have liked the display to be a little brighter I think it's fine plus there's Gorilla Glass 5 year which is honestly always nice to have. Coming back to the design the Redmi Y3 is a solid smartphone it has some heft and it's also slightly thicker.
The back of the phone is plastic here which has this glass-like finish. This back also features the dual rear cameras which I'll get back to later and the Fingerprint scanner which in my brief usage was really fast. So that's nice apart from that this dual SIM Plus micro SD slot along with the headphone jack and the IR blaster on the top. There is a micro USB port on the bottom and the usual buttons. The fancy design is the highlight of the Redmi Y3.
As for the camera’s, their packs in a 12-megapixel f 2.2 primary sensors plus a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The primary camera here is the same primary camera from the Redmi Note 7 and it captures some nice shots. The phone takes some nice photos in good light and in low light for the phone's price. On the video, the Redmi Y3 supports up to 1080p at 60fps videos. Video shot from the phone looks decent enough and since there's EIS here it's fairly stable too. Moving on to the front camera which is always being the highlight of the Redmi Y series. It brings a 32 megapixel F 2.2 selfie camera features like HDR AI portrait mode and 1080p video recording with EIS. So yeah it's nice and features packed. The lighting is pretty good and detail in low light noise creeps in but things are still decent.
When it comes to the performance, Redmi Y3 is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 632 with up to 4 GB RAM. Now we have a 3 GB RAM version. Snapdragon 632 isn't a bad chipset but yeah the Snapdragon 636 would have brought better gaming performance. I mean PUBG mobile runs on low graphics setting on this phone and while it's decent but I'm a little disappointed.
The Redmi Y3 has a huge 4000 mAh battery so the battery life should be great and when it comes to charging the phone comes with the standard10-watt charger which is yeah kind of the standard in this price range.
