Redmi Note 9 Pro Max Overview

We expected Redmi Note 9 Pro Max to come loaded with some powerful specs but it seems that we expected too much as there’s nothing max about the smartphone. Both Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max are basically the two peas in a pod with some tweaks on the latter. With that being said the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max arrives with some commendable features & specs with the notable pricing. Design & Display

Redmi Note 9 Pro Max flaunts a massive 6.67-inch FULL HD+ IPS LCD display panel with 2400 x 1080-pixels of resolution. It sports a wider 20:9 aspect ratio that gives you a cinematic experience. It arrives with an Aura Balance Design featuring a 3D curved glass rear. The device is protected by the triple corning gorilla glass 5. The one disappointing aspect is that it doesn’t have a higher refresh rate than the Redmi Note 9 Pro.

Now coming to the optical features of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, it is not a lot different than its sibling Redmi Note 9 Pro. Redmi Note 9 Pro Max cameras are housed in a new square-shaped module that consists of a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree FOV, 5MP macro lens, and 2MP depth sensor. 

Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes equipped with the in-display 32MP selfie camera as compared to that of the Redmi Note 9 Pro. The smartphone arrives with features like night mode, RAW photography, 4K video shooting, 120fps 1080p slo-mo videos and it also utilizes a multi-frame noise reduction with the 64MP rear camera.

Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset under the hood like that of Redmi Note 9 pro that also powered the recently launched Realme 6 Pro. The chipset onboard is coupled with the 6/8GB RAM with the storage options of 64/128GB that can be further expanded up to 512GB via a dedicated MicroSD card slot. You will be able to experience a truly elite gaming experience with the Adreno 618 GPU without any lagging on the device. On the software front, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max comes loaded with Android 10-based MIUI 11 out-of-the-box.
