Camera

The Redmi Note 7 has a rear dual 48MP+5MP depth sensor in the Global version but in the Indian variant has come with12MP+2MP camera. The 48MP camera gives the best details with almost no noise, the 48MP camera is based on Pixel binning technology which gives the resolution of the 12MP camera but the camera sensor is 48Mega Pixel the phones combine 4pixel as one so that 48/4=12MP result.

The camera produces a Good image in good light condition and also in the low light condition it has night camera mode. The Night mode produces good images with a bit of noise and less detailing. The portrait images are a bit wider than a regular photo.

The 13MP front camera produces very good selfie with good details and light. The selfie portrait seems good edge detection.

Redmi Note 7 Camera

The camera supports 30fps and 60fps video recording. The 60fps seems very smooth than 30fps video. It also has 120fps Slow-motion seems perfect details and smooth. The EIS(Electronic Image Stabilization) helps to make a very stable video.

The Redmi Note 7 dual camera setup having 12 MP in Indian Version but global it has a 48-megapixel but the features are quite to be the same as 48 MPcamera. The 12 MP camera features the widest aperture of f/1.8 primary camera and a 5-megapixel f/2.4 depth sensor. It consists of the phase-detection autofocus but lacks on OIS and Laser autofocus as Flagship phones of dual camera setup.

Selfie:
As the selfie camera in the daytime, the shots look good but efforts much too backlit the scenes. The Beauty mode is great but hides a lot of faces details but has the option to dial up the beauty of the images up and down. The detail is fair in this picture, but in low light as noise sucks the images. For the selfie lovers, the screen can brighten up double as a flashlight, which helps images to boots up.

Portrait:

At left, the photo is captured in the Auto mode + HDR. The picture is not as natural as it meant to be but the clarity is impressing. At the right, The Picture is Captured on portrait Mode whose Depth Sensor is better and the background blur is pretty good and wider as the other phones available in the market. As per the user experience, the photo from the Redmi Note 7 has quite a good response. In portrait mode.

Redmi note 7 camera

It brightens up images, sure, but it doesn’t add stacks more details. The Night mode, is good, but not as good as the competition’s intelligent photography. Its feature is nice to have but hopefully, it will get better down the line.

There are Many shooting options such as these include Night, Pro mode, AI, Portrait and Panorama. The Portrait mode doesn’t have options refocusing after the shot is captured, as available on Huawei phones, and its bokeh effect is good on these ranges phones.

Performance/Gaming

The Redmi Note 7 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Processor power with Adreno 512 GPU Which helps to create smooth graphics performance in full HD+ display. The Performance of the phone is smooth and there are no lags while using several apps parallelly. It doesn’t lag even in a 3GB RAM variant while using multiple apps. It also supports multiple apps in realtime using multiple window modes. For a gamer, While using PUBG it supports HDR with a high frame rate setting without lags but sometimes it can seem some frame drops but medium setting gives the best gaming performance. The GPU performs very well in image and video processing and photo editing in Lightroom seems smooth in rendering images. It does have the support of fast charging of 18W which charges the mobile very quick.

Battery

Redmi 7 is powered by 4000mAh the Redmi Note 7’s battery life pretty impresses and great it has upper hand in today’s battery capacities in a current smartphone in which we can see the great addition of  Moto G7. There is no support for wireless charging. But we can get 18W fast charging support which takes 2 hours to fully charge. The phone survives for a full day of usage. But heavy gaming might decrease the battery % rapidly.their is a pre-installed application for adaptive battery which limits the battery usage for apps which is not in use frequently. This helps in maintaining the battery life better and minimize the background apps.
