Redmi 9A Sport Arrives in Nepal as Entry-Level Phone

Redmi 9A was one of the most selling entry-level smartphones in Nepal in 2021. Now, this device gets its successor but actually, it's just rebranded version: Redmi 9A Sport. Redmi 9A Sport is launched in Nepal with a starting of Rs. 12,999 for 2/32GB variant.

Redmi 9A Sport Overview

Redmi 9A sport comes in a 6.53-inches IPS LCD display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. It has an 81.0% screen-to-body ratio, 269 ppi density, and 20:9 aspect ratio. This device measures 164.9 x 77.1 x 9 mm and weighs 194 grams. Furthermore, it has a water-repellent coating. 

Under the hood, Redmi 9A Sport is powered by a MediaTek Helio G25 processor. Coupled with this octa-core processor, it has PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Likewise, it has 2/3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The latter can be expandable via a dedicated microSD slot. 

Moving on to the optics, it has a 13MP Primary wide lens on the rear side with LED flash and a single 5MP front camera. Both the camera can record video in 1080p at 30fps. 

Redmi 9A Sport packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 10W charging with microUSB 2.0. This gadget is running on Android 10 with MIUI 12 as the skin. Carbon Black, Coral Green, Metallic Blue are the color options available with this smartphone.
