OnePlus 7 Pro Price in Nepal | Flagship Killer to Flagship

Sanjeev Dulal 28 May, 2019

OnePlus 7 Pro is the most expensive phone ever, manufactured by OnePlus. OnePlus is also known as the flagship killer brand is changing its trend and entering the territory of high-end phones with a larger price tag. OnePlus 7 Pro is the most awaited flagship phone of 2019 which was recently launched in the international market and now the device is available in Nepali smartphone market too. iHub Pvt Ltd. has brought OnePlus phones in Nepal. The price of OnePlus 7 Pro in Nepal is Rs. 89,900 for 6/128GB variant, Rs. 99,900 for 8/128GB variant and Rs. 1,09,000 for 12/256GB variant. Don't forget to check the price of OnePlus Mobile in Nepal too.

OnePlus 7 Pro is making a buzz around the market at the moment. Without making much of delay let's dive in the detailed overview of the device.

OnePlus 7 Pro Overview

Design and Display

OnePlus 7 does not stick into the traditional OnePlus designs. OnePlus 7 Pro looks nothing like any OnePlus phones launched so far. OnePlus 7 Pro features a notchless display on the front with a pop-up selfie camera on the front. At the back, there is a gradient glass panel with a triple camera on it. The glass back panel has a subtle change with a matte-like finish.

OnePlus 7 Pro Design

Looking at the phone, we now can be sure that the manufacturer has now jumped towards the position of flagship maker and OnePlus 7 Pro really feels premium on the hand. The phone feels sturdy and tough although it's bit slippery and the curved design with minimal bezels make it slightly difficult to hold on the hand. The bezels themselves are very thin all the way around - the chin is the most notable, but even that is thinner than the 6T's.

OnePlus 7 Pro is much better than the predecessor in terms of display. The QHD+ resolution makes it brighter and more vivid. The phone packs 6.67" Fluid AMOLED display with the refresh rate of 90Hz and has a resolution of 3120 X 1440px. It has a high pixel per inches density of 516ppi. The display itself is gorgeous and of course, thanks to the pop-up selfie camera, there's no need for a notch, nor a hole-punch.

With the unique display of 90Hz on day to day use phone, the OnePlus 7 sets a record. The phone has a high potential to reshape the whole smartphone industry with its 90Hz display. Here, the 90Hz display means the phone refreshes its screen 90 times per second to make it more smooth for users. For the past several years, all other smartphone makers have been manufacturing devices with 60Hz displays (except for the odd gaming-centric phone or two) and this meant users could watch content at a max framerate of 60 frames per second. Considering the OnePlus 7 Pro Price in Nepal, you will be getting a newer feature in the price range of 80-90K.

Camera

There are also a lot of changes in the camera of the device. The primary sensor has jumped to 48-megapixel IMX586 sensor along with an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens. OnePlus 7 also supports 3 times optical zoom. There is no drastic change in the UI of the device but OnePlus has added faster nightscape mode.

On the OnePlus 6T, the 20 MP secondary camera was nothing more than a glorified depth sensor. The telephoto camera on the 7 Pro is the real deal now and even though it's just 8MP, it offers 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization. Its aperture is F/2.4.

The ultra-wide camera is a 16MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture lens that offers a 117-degree field of view. The ultra-wide camera is the only one that isn't optically stabilized but still does offer autofocus.

Where the competition has a leg up on this camera setup is a couple of things: dual pixel autofocus is significantly quicker and more accurate than phase-detection and here there's no dedicated depth sensor like the ToF camera appearing on a bunch of flagships over the past several months. **

Performance

If you’re a power user, OnePlus 7 Pro will not disappoint you. We pushed OnePlus 7 Pro to limits by playing graphics intensive games like Marvel Contest of Champions, Injustice 2, Asphalt and of course PUBG Mobile. At no point, we faced issues like frame rate drop or lag.

The onboard “fanatic mode” allows you to enhance the gaming experience by amping up the display brightness, haptic feedback enhancement and channelizing all the core powers entirely towards gameplay. OnePlus’ gaming mode is among the best. The 4,000mAh battery is really good. Software-based algorithms do help optimize battery life for different use cases. On extreme usage which includes longer sessions of games, camera, streaming and maximum brightness, OnePlus 7 Pro will last you less than a day. This is where the fast charging Warp Charge 30 comes handy. You can get up to 60-70% charge in about 30 minutes.

If you’re not a power user, well, you won’t notice much of a performance difference between OnePlus 6T (Snapdragon 845 processor) and OnePlus 7 Pro (Snapdragon 855 processor).

Battery And Other

There's a large 4,000 mAh battery inside the OnePlus 7 Pro which is a modest 300mAh (8.1%) bump in battery capacity over the OnePlus 6T. We wondered if the slight increase is enough to match or exceed the 90h overall endurance score that the OnePlus 6T yielded in our test. Remember, there's a larger display with higher resolution and a 50% higher refresh rate. Each of those things alone contributes to an increase in battery draw.

The OnePlus 7 Pro put in a great performance in our audio quality test. Its loudness was very high both with an active external amplifier and when we plugged in our standard headphones. The clarity was spotless in the first case and almost as good in the second one too.

OnePlus 6T’s in-display fingerprint sensor was nothing short of a disappointment. The latest model, however, fixes this problem. The on-screen fingerprint sensor is now easy to register and quickly responds, even with partial touch. This is a big improvement over the predecessor.
