As OnePlus has launched two flagships which are OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. Currently, they are one of the best flagship phones in the market. So, let’s talk about the normal OnePlus 7 as we are here you to provide the review of OnePlus 7.  The OnePlus 7 Price in Nepal for 8/256GB variant is NPR 69,999 which is available for pre-booking in Nepal.

Design & Build Quality

As for design, OnePlus 7 looks quite similar to its previous version i.e. OnePlus 6T. As for the screen, OnePlus 7 features a 6.41" Optic AMOLED, 1080 x 2340px resolution FULL HD+ screen. The phone is completely built with glass and aluminum body frame on the edges. Gorilla Glass 6 on the front and 5 on the back is being used. We have tear-drop notch on the front screen with quite less bezel and the screen looks quite futuristic.

So, on the back of the phone, we have a dual-camera setup along with OnePlus 7 logo just below it. And for buttons, we have volume buttons on the left, power button on the right and alert slider just above it. OnePlus 7 has one of the best screens we can get. The screen is quite bright and it just looks amazing. It also features the in-display fingerprint sensor inside the display which is quite fast and accurate.

Performance

So, for the performance, OnePlus 7 packs the top of the line Snapdragon 855 chipset - the latest and greatest from Qualcomm with octa-core CPU and Adreno 640 GPU. The phone comes with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The phone is quite fast and snappy. Multi-tasking will be so smooth along with the gaming experience. We tested a lot of games including PUBG Mobile and it runs so smooth even on highest of setting.

So if we see the GeekBench score, it is above phones like Samsung Galaxy S10, Huawei P30 and it’s bigger brother OnePlus 7 Pro lacking behind Black Shark 2 and Xiaomi MI 9 in multi-core. And for single-core, it falls behind phones like Samsung Galaxy S10, Black Shark 2, Asus Zenfone 6, and Xiaomi MI 9.

Camera

Talking about the camera. It features dual camera setup, a primary 48 MP, f/1.7, (wide), 1/2", 0.8µm, PDAF, OIS lens, and 5MP, f/2.4, 1.12µm, depth sensor. The OnePlus 7 is capable of taking some great photos with a wide dynamic range, a good amount of detail, no noise. Contrast is nice as it makes the colors pop out more. The OnePlus 7 has a slightly slower lens than the 7 Pro, which makes a slight difference when the light starts to fade, but you'd have to be looking really closely to spot it. Talking about the front-facing camera, disappointingly the front camera lacks autofocus but it can shoot great selfies.

The OnePlus 7 supports 4K recording at 30fps and 60fps while can shoot 1080p @ 240fps for slow-motion purposes or you can also switch to 720p@480fps. The video quality is quite great with decent colors, good contrast and very low amount of noticeable noise.
