After months of leaks and renders, OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro are finally released on 14 April 2020. OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro is now finally official making them one of the most competitive flagship phones of 2020 rather than the flagship killer smartphone. The similarly cheaper variant of OnePlus 8 Series, OnePlus 8 lite, will also release but the OnePlus 8 Lite release has not confirmed yet. OnePlus 8 is a powerful device that gets great hardware but does not have all the features of OnePlus 8 Pro. So let's check out the features and specs One Plus 8 incorporates. OnePlus 8 is officially launched in Nepal at the price Rs. 93,000 for 12/25GB.
Overview of OnePlus 8
OnePlus 8 is a successor of the OnePlus 7 series. Just a couple of months ago, OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro have released in Nepal which is the successor of OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. OnePlus phones are popular in Nepal due to their reasonable pricing of better hardware and software. And without a doubt, OnePlus 8 will also be famous in Nepal as it is featuring Snapdragon 865 Chipset, 90Hz AMOLED panel, and Triple rear camera setup.
Display and Design
The OnePlus 8 comes with a slightly different form factor than its previous generation. At the front, we can see a curve AMOLED panel with a punch hole for a front-facing camera. While at back, the identical design is followed, similar to OnePlus 7T Pro. The OnePlus 8 packs a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED panel at front with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The new display also supports a 90Hz refresh rate along with HDR10+ capability. To save the battery, users will have the option to reduce the refresh rate to 60 Hz.

Chipset and Performance
According to the available information, OnePlus 8 is powered by Snapdragon 865 Chipset coupled with Adreno 650 GPU. This chipset is 25% faster than the previous generation SD855 chipset and 20% power efficient. It also supports 5G connectivity, but sadly we will not be able to take benefits of 5G connectivity as there is no infrastructure build to provide the 5G connectivity. There is 8/128GB and 12/256GB variant of OnePlus 8 which uses faster RAM management and Storage technology for better and smooth performance.
There is a triple rear camera setup in OnePlus 8, similar to what we have seen in the OnePlus 7 series. Similarly, there is a 16 MP front-facing camera embedded in the top left corner of the display. The rear camera has a 48MP main sensor with a 16MP ultrawide angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2. Additionally, a 2MP macro sensor is also present in OnePlus 8. With this camera hardware, Laser Autofocus and software improvement, users will be able to capture 4K (2160p @30/60fps), FHD (1080p up to 240fps) and HD slow-motion video. The image and video quality will also be increased.
Battery and Other Features
OnePlus 8 Pro comes with a 4510 mAh battery that supports 30W fast wired and wireless charging technology. But sadly OnePlus 8 comes with 4300 mAh battery that only supports 30W warp charging technology. OnePlus claims to charge the phone up to 50% in 22 minutes and this is pretty impressive.
Additionally, there's still a traditional optic under-display fingerprint sensor. Similarly, about the connectivity, OnePllus 8 have Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 ax), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, etc. This time OnePlus has provided wireless charging features and IP certification for water and dust resistant for its OnePlus 8 series.
