Motorola, the Lenovo-owned brand is once again back with its new budget-oriented smartphone. The new smartphone is dubbed as Moto G8 Power Lite. It has not been a month since the brand unveiled the entry-level smartphone Motorola Moto E6s. For the few past years, the brand’s strategy has been to release the smartphone of each price level as much as possible. The Moto G8 Power Lite is priced at Rs. 15,990 (4GB/64GB). Moto G8 Power Lite Overview


Motorola had launched Moto G8 Power back in February 2020.  Moto G8 Power Lite arrives as the watered-down version of the Moto G8 Power. Moto G8 Power Lite is sure to provide tough competition to other budget smartphones as it comes with attractive and impressive features. Now, let us know more in detail about the impressive specifications of Moto G8 Power Lite.  


Moto G8 Power Lite flaunts a huge 6.5-inch IPS LCD Max Vision display with an HD+ screen resolution of  720 x 1600 pixels. Moto G8 Power Lite arrives with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and screen to body ratio of 87 percent. The smartphone has a plastic body & it also features a teardrop notch on top of the display housing the front camera. The smartphone has a water-repellent design protecting the device both inside and out. 



Now talking about the optics of  Moto G8 Power Lite, the smartphone has a triple camera system at the rear that includes of PDAF assisted 16MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. It also comes with the support of features like HDR, Face Beauty, Dual camera bokeh, Timer, Panorama, Google Lens integration, etc to make your pictures majestic. 

Now on the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera that also supports features like HDR, Face beauty, Timer, Bokeh, etc. Both the camera support 30fps 1080p video recording on the device. 



Under the hood, Moto G8 Power Lite comes powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 with 2.3GHz Quad-Core and 1.8GHz Quad-Core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU and 680MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is coupled with the 4GB of RAM and internal storage of 64GB that is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. 

Talking about the software in the device, Moto G8 Power Lite runs on Android 9 Pie OS. it has also integrated a fingerprint sensor in the company’s logo located at the rear.  


Moto G8 Power Lite comes backed up by the massive 5,000mAh battery with 10W rapid charging. As per Motorola, it lasts for up to 3 Full days in a single charge.

Moto G8 Power Lite was available in Mexico and Germany. The Moto G8 Power Lite is priced at 169 Euros in Germany and Mexico. The price of Moto G8 Power Lite in Nepal is Rs. 15,990 (4GB/64GB). The smartphone is available in two color variants Royal Blue and Arctic Blue.  Moto G8 Power Lite will be competing with phones like Samsung M31, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, Realme 6, etc.
