Finally ! Share your Mobile Screen via Facebook Messenger
During the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic, Facebook has brought many features that will make fans happy and satisfied. They launched Facebook Shop as an e-commerce platform within the Facebook app, new and dedicated Desktop Messenger App, Room to take on Zoom for group video call, and many more. Now, Facebook came up with a new update in its messenger app: Share Screen.
Now, you can share your mobile screen with your friends while having calls or also can share your screen if you are in group video calls. For now, you can share your screen with 8 people in the group chat or 16 people in the Messenger Room. But according to Facebook, this feature will be updated and you will be allowed to share screen while having 50 people in the Room.
This feature is available on both Android and iOS devices. So, make sure you have the latest Messenger to enjoy this feature. To start sharing your screen,
- During a call, swipe up from the bottom of your screen to get the Screen Share button.
- Click “share your screen,” “start sharing,” and then “start broadcast”
- Now, you can show or navigate on your phone and that will be broadcast to the friend in the call.
- Return to Messenger to stop this.

Share Screen is no new feature in Video Calling Apps like in Skype or Zoom, but it will be handy as its available within Messenger App. You don’t need to use a separate app to share the screen with your friends.
