iPhone 15 Pro goes official with Titanium Body and A17 Chipset, launching soon in Nepal

Design and Display 

Talking about the design of the iPhone 15 Pro, the phone showcases an ideal combination of metal and glass, with a premium feel and stunning appearance. Built with Glass front and Glass back (Corning-made glass) and a grade titanium frame the phone is lightweight among other Apple Pro models. The iPhone 15 Pro has a body dimensions of 146.6 x 70.6 x 8.25mm and weighs 187 g. A customizable Action button (replacing the alert switch) and curved edges are other aspects of the new design that let customers customize their iPhone experience. Black Titanium, White Titanium, Blue Titanium, and Natural Titanium are the color options available for the iPhone 15 Pro. 

The display size of the iPhone 15 Pro is almost the same as a previous pro model which is 6.1 inches Super Retina XDR” OLED with a resolution of 1179 x 2556 pixels and 120Hz ProMotion for an exceptional viewing experience. The display of the iPhone 15 Pro is protected with Ceramic Shield glass protecting against small scratches.  

Performance and Software

The iPhone 15 Pro has the latest chipset i.e. Apple A17 Pro chipset constructed on 3nm, Apple company's first 3-nanometer chip. The A17 Pro chip is designed to handle intensive tasks with ease, offering 10% faster CPU and 20% improved GPU performance compared to its predecessors. Twice as fast as the old chipset which is A16. This means smoother multitasking, faster app launches, and improved gaming experiences. Also, The A17 Pro boasts USB-3 speeds, enhancing transfer speeds and video output, ensuring efficient streaming services and high-quality video experiences. The iPhone 15 Pro runs on Apple's latest operating system, iOS 17, which brings a host of new features and enhancements to the device. Storage options in the iPhone 15 Pro come in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB variants. 

Camera

The camera system, on the iPhone 15 Pro is nothing short of extraordinary. With its computational photography features and state-of-the-art sensors, this device takes photography to a whole new level. It comes with three lenses; a 48MP primary camera which also enables 48MP HEIF photos with a 4x higher resolution, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom. This combination allows users to effortlessly capture photos and videos in various situations.

Additionally the iPhone 15 Pro introduces exciting features, like ProRAW. This feature enables users to capture images in a professional-grade RAW format offering flexibility during post-processing. Moving to the front camera it features a 12MP selfie camera with improved resolution and advanced image processing capabilities. Additionally, the true depth camera system provides precise facial recognition for secure authentication and immersive FaceTime calls. Same as the iPhone 14 Pro, the iPhone 15 Pro also offers up to 23 hr of video playback. With 20W wired charging support (USB Type-C port) which can charge up to 50% in just 30 mins. The phone also supports 7.5W Qi wireless charging and 15W Magsafe wireless charging. As mentioned earlier the iPhone 15 Pro models use USB-3 speeds for fast charging and Data transferring whereas the 15 and 15 Plus uses USB-2 speeds. In terms of connectivity, the iPhone 15 Pro features a 5G network, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and dual-frequency GPS.

The iPhone 15 Pro is not yet available in Nepal but you can pre-order it from an authorized Apple shop. The official price for the iPhone 15 Pro in the US is $999 for the 128GB variant. The iPhone 15 Pro price in Nepal is expected to be priced at around Rs. 1,77,499 for the 128GB variant and Rs. 2,66,499 for the 1TB variant.
