Microsoft will retires Internet Explorer in 2022
Internet Explorer is one of the oldest web browsers on the internet. But it has been unused or neglected for a long by many users due to slow speed, lack of features, and so on. Microsoft has been focusing on its new browser Microsoft Edge which’s why Microsoft has decided to end the support for Internet Explorer.
Internet Explorer has been with us for more than 25 years and now, Microsoft will end the support for IE on June 15th, 2022. Furthermore, Internet Explorer will no longer be supported by Microsoft online services like Office 365, OneDrive, Outlook, and more on August 17th.
According to Sean Lyndersay, a Microsoft Edge program manager, “We are announcing that the future of Internet Explorer on Windows 10 is in Microsoft Edge. The Internet Explorer 11 desktop application will be retired and go out of support on June 15, 2022, for certain versions of Windows 10.”
