Huawei Y5 Overview

Starting off with the display, Huawei Y5 reveals a design inspired by the nature in the 5.71” Dewdrop display. The IPS panel display comes with the resolution of HD+  having a pixel density of 295PPI. The beautiful, vibrant screen with a wide 84.6% screen to body ratio, show off a bigger world for your entertainment or playing needs. The faux-leather finish on the Huawei Y5 is a pleasure to hold and touch.

With dewdrop notch on the top, Huawei tried to keep minimum bezels of the phone. Yet the chin of the device is quite thicker.

Talking about the camera, the device features a single camera setup on both front and back. The rear camera has 13MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and selfie shooter has a 5MP sensor. With Smart Beauty feature, the stunning selfies will reveal natural beauty in every photo.

Also, the 5MP camera sensor is built with facial unlock. And it’s the only biometric unlock feature in the device as it lacks fingerprint sensor. Around 1024 facial features packed in the device, the sensor is intelligent enough to unlock the device conveniently.

For the performance, the device boosts with MediaTek Helio A22 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and GPU of PowerVR GE8320. For the storage, the device comes in two variant: 16GB and 32GB. Also, we can expand the memory via microSD up to 512GB.

For a budget-oriented device, Huawei has kept 3020mAh of battery and intelligent power saving technology to save battery. According to the company, they claim” The Huawei Y5 delivers up to 16 hours of video playback, up to 74 hours of listening music and 10 hours of internet browsing”.

The EMUI 9.0 paired with the advanced Android 9, the device delivers speed enhancements. Huawei Y5 comes with unique independent triple card slot design that allows a dual SIM and a memory card. The dual SIM support 4G and VoLTE. The screen of the device is certified by TUV Rheinland to block out harmful blue light.
