About a week ago, Huawei released its Nova 7 series. Among the Nova 7SE, Nova 7 5G, and 7 Pro 5G, the Nova 7SE is the most affordable device without making lots of compromises. Based on the features and hardware, Nova 7SE might be the most affordable 5G smartphone of 2020. So let's find out the features and specs of Huawei Nova 7SE.

Overview of Nova 7 SE

Huawei Nova 7SE combines a beautiful outlook with powerful hardware to provide a better smartphone. The front of the Nova 7SE got a 6.5-inch FHD+ Panel with a punch hole at the top. Similarly, there is a quad rear camera setup at back with a primary 64MP sensor. To power the device Kirin 820 7nm 5G chipset is paired with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. Display and Design

Huawei Nova 7SE adapts a glass-metal sandwich design with a black, purple, green, and blue color option. The device looks stunning and the build quality is great. At the front, there is a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+(1080X2400 pixels) resolution. The content looks natural with good color accuracy, but the panel itself is inferior to that of OLED or AMOLED panels. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio, better for media consumption.

Chipset and Performance

Huawei used Hisilicon chipset in all of its Nova 7 series. The Nova 7 5G and Nova 7 Pro 5G used a Kirin 985 Chipset, but Nova 7SE got a Kirin 820 7nm 5G chipset. The CPU is paired with Mali G57 GPU. The operating system is based on Android 10, on top of which EMUI 10 Skin is implemented. There are two variants of Nova 7SE, one with an 8/128GB option and anther with an 8/256GB option. The good thing is it supports the external Nano Memory card to expand the storage by up to 256GB, but it takes up the SIM slot. The bad thing is it does not have a Gooogle Play service support, which is a great deal for most of all.

At the front, there is a 16 MP front-facing camera embedded in a punch-hole display.
