Display and Design

The front of Nova 7 Pro 5G has a 6.57-inch curved OLED panel. The display adapts FHD+(1080X2340 pixels ) resolution with a pillar-shaped camera cut out on the top left corner of the display. The display can produce vibrant colors and a great viewing angle. The OLED panel does not support a faster refresh rate but for media consumption this display is excellent. There is an under-display optical fingerprint sensor underneath the display.

Chipset and Performance

Huawei Nova 7 Pro 5G is powered by a Hisilicon Chipset. They used Kirin 985 7nm chipset inside Nova 7 and Nova 7 Pro model instead of the Kirin 990 Chipset which we have seen in the Huawei P40 series. This chipset has a better performance than Kirin 980, but is not as powerful as Kirin 990 Chipset and also support 5G connectivity. If you compare it with Qualcomm chipset, the performance Kirin 985 provides is similar to that of Snapdragon 855 chipset. The CPU is coupled with faster RAM and UFS 3.0 Storage and Mali G77 GPU. There are two variants of Huawei Nova 7 Pro, one with 8/128GB and another with an 8/256GB option. With powerful hardware, any latest games and applications will run smoothly without any issues.
