HTC Wildfire X launched with Helio P22 SoC, Triple Rear Camera | Can this Phone Survive?

Once upon a time, HTC used to be one of the top brand smartphones in the market. And their downfall started as Samsung, Apple and Chinese brand take off to conquer the market. Now, HTC comes up with a budget segment smartphone in India and trying to get back market in Asian Region once again. HTC launched Wildfire X in India at the price of INR.9,999 for 3/64GB and INR.12,999 for 4/128GB. The expected price of HTC Wildfire X in Nepal is Rs.17,000 for base variant but the launch of this phone in Nepal is not sure.

HTC Wildfire X Overview

The phone has been launched with decent specs and aggressive pricing. It will be interesting to see how this phone will be responded in the market which is already conquered by Samsung and Chinese Brands.

This phone houses 6.2-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with the resolution support of 1520 x 720 pixels. The side bezels are completely minimized, quite noticeable chin at the button and waterdrop notch on the top for selfie shooter. The dimensions of this device read as 156.7 mm x 74.9 mm x 7.95 mm.

HTC Wildfire X is powered by MediaTek Helio P22 chipset, a 2.0GHz octa-core processor. This SoC is paired with 3/4 GB of RAM. For the internal storage, we have an option of 32GB or 128GB of ROM and can be expandable up to 256GB.

The imaging department seems promising with triple camera setup on the back. The Rear camera bears 12MP Primary Sensor, 8MP Telephoto Sensor for Optical Zoom and 5MP depth sensors for portrait mode shots. The front camera is an 8MP Sensor with an 86-degree Field of View. 

The smartphone has a 3300mAh battery and supports 10W fast charge technology. The wildfire X runs on Android 9.0 Pie.

Price and Availability

HTC Wildfire X has been launched in India and available exclusively in Flipkart at the price of INR.9,999 for the base variant. Though this phone packs decent specs, the launch of this phone in Nepal is very unsure. Hope HTC considered Nepal as a good market for their smartphones and make way for their new phone.
