Just In ! Honor Vision TV launched With New Huawei's HarmonyOS

After being one of the best smartphone manufacturers in the world, Huawei started to expand its boundary through other smart devices. Following Xiaomi, OPPO, Honor launched SmartTV branding as Honor Vision. Honor is an independent smartphone brand under Huawei Technologies. To make the news more interesting, this new SmartTV runs on HarmonyOS, the new OS Huawei launched a day ago.


Just like the trend in smartphones, this SmartTV comes in 2 variant: Normal(Honor Vision) and Pro(Honor Vision Pro). Both of this SmartTV comes with a 55-inch 4K HDR Display. They have an impressive 94% screen to body ratio and just 6.9mm thickness. This display houses the features of NTSC 85% wide color gamut, 360nit brightness, and wide viewing angles. 

Talking about the Performance hardware, these TVs are powered by Honghu 818 SoCs, an octa-core Chipset with 2 A53 cores and 2 A73 cores, coupled with a 4-core Mali-G51 GPU. These TVs have Histen sound quality optimization technology, Wi-Fi capabilities


The Pro variant comes with a Pop-up selfie-taking camera that supports 1080pixels. This AI Lifting Camera learns and recognizes and improves image taking capabilities.  

After this launch, this OS will be the most talking point because it runs on HarmonyOS, introduced by Huawei just a day ago. It's totally a new OS with new UI, new icons and applications. Huawei claims its much easier to HarmonyOS for Cross-Device Connectivity.

Price and Availability

The base variant aka Honor Vision is priced at 3799 Yuan(~Rs. 60K Nepali Price) and Pro Variant at 4799 Yuan(~Rs. 76K Nepali Price) and it will be available for sale on August 15 in China. As Nepali Market is done and dusted by Sony. Samsung, LG’s  SmartTVs, we are not sure about the launch of this Honor SmartTVs in Nepal.
