Deal Alert ! Honor Nepal drops the Price of Honor 8S in Nepal

With most of the cases with the US Government has settled down, Huawei will be again in full flow to take the smartphone market in their hand. From flagship P30 series to entry-level, they are everywhere in the market. Adding to the tally, Honor recently launched Honor 8s as entry-level in the international market and today, the device is launched in Nepal too. Honor devices are sub-brand of Huawei and always stunning products from Huawei. For an entry-level device, the price of Honor 8s in Nepal was Rs.12,500. But with the price drop, the new price of Honor 8S in Nepal is Rs. 11,590.

Honor 8s Overview

We have lots of options for an entry-level device: Realme C2, Samsung Galaxy M10, and many more. Honor 8s got some promising specs on paper but pricing could be vital to beat others in the market. 5.71” FullView Dewdrop Display, 2/32GB RAM/ROM combination, Dual SIM slot+Micro-SD slot, 13MP Wide Aperture Rear Camera, 3020mAh of battery are the highlights specs of Honor 8s.

Display/Design

Honor 8s comes with 5.71” FullView Dewdrop Display which is IPS LCD display and reaches an 84.6% screen to body ratio. Minimum narrowed bezels in three sides of the phone with a quite bigger chin at the bottom for the branding of the device. Having passed TÜV Rheinland eye comfort certification, the screen reduces the emission of blue light, reducing harm to the eyes from long periods of exposure. 

The device has an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The back side of the device dual-texture body design.

Camera

The rear camera of this device has a 13MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture lets in more light for great nighttime photos and accurate background bokeh.

The front-facing camera is of 5MP which is powered with intelligent beautifications for selfies. The same front-facing camera is capable of face unlock of the device and is only biometric security in the device.

Performance

The device is packed with MediaTek Helio A22 processor which is a quad-core processor with clock speed up to 2.0GHz. The processor is paired with 2GB of RAM.

For the GPU, there is PowerVR GE8320. Honor 8s comes in either 32GB or 64GB internal storage and can be expanded up to 1TB. Well, that’s massive storage.

Others

The battery power of the device comes from 3020mAh of battery. This can be enough for whole day usage. No fast charging has been mentioned by the company.

The phone got a triple slot: Dual SIM (Dual VoLTE)+ Micro-SD card.

For the skin of the phone, it features EMUI 9.0, an optimized Operating System based on the latest Android 9.

Price and Availability

After all the rumors and long waiting, the new entry-level device from Honor, Honor 8s launched in Nepal. Pricing well at Rs.12,500 in Nepal, it will create more competition in the market. Catching craze in this competitive, Honor Nepal has cut the price of Honor 8S as the new price of Honor 8S is Rs.11,590.
