Galaxy Buds Plus Review | After One Month of Usage

Samsung has first released its wireless earphone as a Galaxy Buds and just a month ago they released its second-generation wireless earphone naming Galaxy Buds Plus in Nepal. The first generation Galaxy Buds have a decent sound quality and battery life which they have drastically improved in their Galaxy Buds Plus. So, let’s find out in detail whether or not these characteristics are noticeable in real life.
Overview of Galaxy Buds Plus
Samsung Nepal has released Galaxy Buds Plus alongside Galaxy S20 and GalaxyS20 Plus in an event on 14 February 2020. During the pre-order session, they provided GalaxyBuds as a free gift if users purchase Galaxy S20 Plus and if you purchase Galaxy S20, you can get it just at Rs. 2999. The official price of Galaxy Buds Plus in Nepal is Rs. 17000. It competes for market share with Accurate earbuds, Apple's EarPods Pro, Redmi Air Dots 2, Bullets Wireless etc.

Features of Galaxy Buds Plus
The major feature that I liked about Galaxy Buds Plus is its playback time. The battery life has been extended from six hours of playback in previous generation Galaxybuds. Similarly, sound quality has been improved and now better bass and crips audio can be heard. Galaxy Buds Plus weighs just 6.3 gm each and it fits comfortably in-ear. Even while running and jogging these earbuds do not fall out of ears. The lightweight design makes these Galaxybuds Plus unnoticeable, and subtle design does not draw attention to your ears.
If you are a user who prefers a sealed environment and enjoys listening to music without disturbance of surroundings, then GalaxyBuds is a perfect choice for you. Even in a crowded place with lots of noise, you will not get any disturbing sound while using Galaxybuds. The same thing might not prefer by all users. For other users, there is a surrounding sound control option in a dedicated Galaxywear app. The ambient sound feature is fine for indoor usage where you can enjoy your music listening with both the environment sound but in outdoor usage, even the small breeze of wind will disturb and irritate the pleasant experience.
After a month of usage, I found these Buds more comfortable to use than other wireless earbuds available in the market. The touch control function works fine and it can be easily paired with devices and simultaneously shift from one device to another. But the Buds can not connect to two different devices at once and used separately.
The microphones on Galaxy Buds Plus are also a big improvement. Making voice calls is now better suited and the audio quality is satisfactory. I frequently use GalaxyBuds Plus for making calls even in crowed place and it is much better.

Verdicts
Overall, Samsung manages to re-engineer Galaxy Buds Plus to provide good quality sounds and longer-lasting battery life. The voice quality was great and Buds were comfortable to use for a longer period. Even though the pricing of GalaxyBuds Plus is higher than what other competitors are offering, based on their features and specs I personally feel it worth buying. So what do you think about it?
