Colors Pride 1X launched in Nepal | Priced below Rs.10K

Colors, Micromax, Lava were the well-known devices before a few years ago but with the arrival of Chinese brands like Xiaomi, Vivo, OPPO, their downfall started. Since then, they are yet to make a comeback. They are trying time to time with new smartphones. Same happens with colors this time. They launched a new entry-level device in the Nepali market a few days ago. Branding as Colors Pride 1X, the price of this device in Nepal is Rs.8,490.

Colors Pride 1X Overview


The device comes in 5.45” HD IPS LCD display in Full View with the aspect ratio of 18:9. Alike current trends, this device has thick bezels on top and bottom. The top bezel houses front-facing camera, flash and micro piece sensors.

The device is powered by MTK 1.3GHz quad-core processor which is paired by 2GB of RAM. For an entry-level device, this processing power seems enough for multitasking and social media usage.


For the storage, the Colors Pride 1X has 16GB of internal storage which can be further expandable via MircoSD.

Talking about the imaging depart, this phone has 8MP of Rear Camera and 5MP of a front-facing camera. Both the camera is paired with Flash. Additionally, the front-facing camera also serves as Facial unlock, an only biometric unlock in the device. Well, for an entry-level device, we can’t expect for than this.


For the survival of the device, Colors Pride 1X is powered by 3,000mAh of battery. In case of software, the phone runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie

Being an entry-level device, the specs this device provide seems affordable. This is not a budget or flagship phone that creates hype in the market. They can be fit for older generations and available in the offline market. They have minimal specs and minimum price. The Price of Rs.8,490 for Colors Pride 1X in Nepal will face neck-to-neck competition with Samsung, Xiaomi's entry-level devices.
