If then, someone has heard you and launched a new payment method in the country: CellPay. CellPay is a new online payment service launched in Nepal by Cellcom Pvt. Ltd.
As a matter of fact, CellPay was launched in back in 2013 as online transaction gateway but they disappear for around 5 years and now they are back with a license from Nepal Rastra Bank. With making Maha Jodi as Brand Ambassador(Madan K. Shrestha and Hari B. Acharya), they come back stronger with aggressive marketing.
CellPay is not a wallet. The best way to think of it as a Digital Debit Card. This gateway provides the fund transfer and payments directly from bank to bank.
Cellpay can be connected to more than one Bank Account. So you can use this app to make various payments with the money of the bank. To register and use the CellPay app, you need to download it either from Play Store or the App Store. After downloading, you need to register with your name, email and phone number. Your user type should be as a customer. Now, you need to enter the PIN number and get authenticated. You also need to update your KYC which may need some time to verify. Then, you can use the service of CellPay with ease.
