CAN Info-tech 2020 | Officially Started From February 14 to February 19
The CAN Federation is organizing one of the biggest tech events, CAN Infotech 2020. They have been organizing this event every year, and this year the event had been started from 14 February (Falgun 2) and will end on 19 February (Falgun 7) in Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. The inauguration of the ceremony was done by Chief guest Gokul Baskota, Minister of ICT. The main attraction of the ceremony was that the robot is used for lightening the lamp.
As per the officials, the event is going to be organized to promote the use of information and communication technology in the country. This is the 26th event of Nepal's Information, Technology, and Entertainment Exhibition. The exhibition will emphasize information, technology, and entertainment-related exhibitions. The general secretary of the CAN, Narayan Thapa, said that CAN Infotech is planning to raise awareness about the information and communication technology among the people and to inform the needs of the ICT industry and entrepreneurs in the country. He also added that the CAN Infotech Exhibition is going to be held outside the valley for the first time. The exhibition will be held in all the provinces outside the Valley in the year.
The federation will be held at five locations outside the CAN Infotech the Kathmandu Valley, which will run for five days. The federation will organize fairs in Itahari of the province 1, Birgunj of the province 2, Chitwan of the province 3, Pokhara of Gandaki Province, Butwal of the province 5, Surkhet of Karnali Province and in Dhangadhi of the far west province and Nepalgunj of the province 6.
At the exhibition, we could see stalls related to Information technology, electronics products, entertainment, etc. The major attraction of CAN Info-tech 2020 is that there is a total of 174 stalls most of which show the latest innovative products. The startup companies and organizations are showing their product and ideas in new innovative ways. And the organization has also announced a reward for participants that they could be part of National ICT Day at CAN Info-Tech. Among multiple sectors, the Robotic zone and gaming zone are the favorites of people who visited CAN Info-tech 2020. the exposure also provides a platform to students related to the information technology or engineering field to be a part of a niche and help them to create business ideas in new and innovative ways.
