Asus ROG Phone 2 Available in Nepal at Daraz | The Specs King Gaming Smartphone !!!

The latest trend has shown that smartphones are becoming more game and photography centric. As the use of smartphones is increasing day by day, the reason seems obvious. Recently, Nubia Red Magic 3 was a game-changer as a gaming smartphone which is also available in Nepal and now, Asus brings ROG Phone II as one of the best and powerful gaming smartphones in the market. The Asus ROG Phone 2 has launched in India at INR.37,999 for the 8/128 GB variant. As Nubia Red magic 3 is available in Nepal at the price of Rs.59,000, we had expected the price of Asus ROG Phone 2 in Nepal at ~Rs.65K. We are not sure whether the phone has arrived in Nepal via an official channel or not but the price is too high. The phone should have been priced not exceeding Rs. 65,000 but the price of Asus Rog Phone II in Nepal is Rs. 81,600 for the 8/128GB variant.

Display/Design

Asus ROG Phone 2 is engineered perfectly for the best gaming experience. This phone comes in 6.59” Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 x1080 pixels. With the protection of Corning Gorilla 6 Glass, this device flaunts a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Well, this is the first smartphone in the world to have a 120Hz refresh rate and amazing 1ms response time. There are bezels on the top as well as at the bottom which are helpful to work as a grip while gaming and also houses the front-facing cameras.

Asus ROG Phone 2 has Metal and Glass finish. There is Dual-Camera on the back, air vent on the side and ROG logo at the center. It has dual USB ports: one at the bottom and one on the side. The side-mounted USB port can be used for connecting additional accessories and charging the device while gaming. 

Camera

Despite being a gaming smartphone, Asus has done very well in the camera department of this device. Asus ROG Phone 2 has a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor which is also found in Asus ZenPhone 6(also called Asus 6z). Along with the main sensor, there is an additional 13MP ultra-wide sensor with LED Flash. This camera module has features like Auto, Portrait, Panorama, Night, AI Scene Detection and many more. On the front, there is a 24MP Selfie Shooter with f/2.0 aperture and features like Auto, Portrait and 8 different Filters. 

Performance & Gaming Features

This is the first smartphone to be released with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset and is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256/512GB of internal storage. This octa-core CPU is based on 7nm technology and 64-bit architecture. Additionally, it has Adreno 640 GPU. 

Asus ROG Phone 2 has monstrous 6,000mAh of battery, supports QuickCharge 4.0 and 30W fast charging. It's running on Android 9.0 Pie with a new ROG UI. This  ROG UI has Armory Crate which helps to show CPU/RAM usage, customize the Air Triggers 2 settings, change ROG logo colors and many more. Also, this phone has dual front-facing speakers with DTS: X Ultra and quad microphones with ASUS Noise Reduction Technology. It has a vapor chamber, a copper heat spreader, and graphite pads inside for heat abandonment.
